From a young camp counselor at Western New York's St. Vincent DePaul Health Camp for underprivileged to the Executive Board of Directors with the United Way of Collier County, Craig has lead by example with his time, talent, and treasure.

United Way of Collier County EVENT: 2.2 mile recreational fundraising walk around public park designed fund-raise and create awareness for 32 United Way agencies in community of 600,000 residents. Geared at young families, community minded individuals, and business community. TITLE: Chairman & Inaugural leader for the first 4 years of event RESULTS: Average of $40,000 fundraising per year. Attendance increases 10% per year. NFL Miami Dolphins now annual participant. LEGACY: Became annual signature event and its success propelled appointment to be voted Campaign Chairman. |

Guadalupe Center of Immokalee EVENT: A reserved themed dinner based on 1960’s fashion and cuisine due to the popularity of the TV drama “Mad Men.” Designed to fund-raise and create awareness for the Guadalupe Center of Immokalee. The organization serves the childhood educational needs of large migrant farming community in rural eastern Collier County. Geared at younger professionals who were attracted to the “pop culture” of the TV program “Mad Men.” TITLE: Co-Chairman/Marketing RESULTS: $15,000 was raised along with introducing a younger donor base to the charity. LEGACY: Awarded a Florida Public Relations Association IMAGE AWARD for the video marketing & advertising of the event. |
AMERICAN RED CROSS
HURRICANE IRMA : “Boots on the Ground” volunteering in Southwest Florida at Everglades City, Plantation Island, and East Naples, Florida. This area was first mainland landfall region of Category 4 hurricane. Assisted with on site hazardous waste home clean ups, on site hot meal delivery, and service in Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV). JAX CHAMBER JACKSONVILLE’S LONGEST TABLE: Event is a shared free meal bringing the community together at one table stretching multiple city blocks to build relationships across economic, racial, religious and ethnic backgrounds. New to the area, I volunteered as a server in an effort to learn about the community. |

United Way of Collier County EVENT: Evening “Meet and Greet” cocktail event attached to Men’s Sr. Tennis Tour stop in Naples, FL. Touring pros donated time and funds all designed to fundraise and create awareness for 32 United Way agencies in community of 600,000 residents. Geared at “country club” adults, tennis advocates, active retired, as well as affluent business community. TITLE: Chairman RESULTS: Evening raised $20,000. Vendor Village outside of main tennis court featured all 32 United Way Agencies over 4 day tournament creating community awareness. LEGACY: Propelled United Way’s outreach and visibility to a previously untapped demo / psychographic. |

United Way of Collier County EVENT: Opening night “Red Carpet” premiere movie reception. Included pre show cocktail party and private showing of motion picture. All designed to fund-raise and create awareness for 32 United Way agencies in community of 600,000 residents. Geared at affluent past donors prompting them to bring guests not yet affiliated with United Way. TITLE: Chairman RESULTS: Evening of Event raised $15,000. Advised that 15 new donors became affiliated with organization the following year. LEGACY: The event was repeated the next year with a different genre of cinema and a different demo / psychographic audience. |
